As far as Kid Cudi goes, that would be awesome. Not sure when he did Minnesota's homecoming, but he kinda blew up since Man on the Moon 2 released so it seems unlikely.

If cudi came to veishea the Ames/isu pd would have a heyday in marijuana related arrests. That said, it would be cool to have an act like him though big boi is good and neon trees would be fantastic.

They seemed to lay off the weed arrests for Ben Harper/Jack Johnson, My Morning Jacket/Ben Harper/Dave Matthew's Band w/Neil Young, O.A.R., Widespread Panic, and Gov't Mule when I was in college.
They'll be more worried about crowd control than someone firing a spliff at a concert.
That said, Big Boi is a great get for VEISHEA. It would be great if they got Cross Canadian (or whatever outfit Cody Canada's leading right now) for the "country" act.
If you want the price of weed to skyrocket for Veishea weekend they should have Wiz Khalifa come to town...dude has his own brand of rolling papers. Love his music, download his mixtapes...good stuff. But to be honest it doesn't matter who plays as this alum won't be able to make it back to Ames for Veishea this year.
Kid Cudi is WAYYY more about weed. He mentions it atleast once per song.

I've never understood rap concerts. They never sound better than they do in the studio, they usually show up late, yell random lyrics throughout the song, have their entire entourage on stage yelling, and put on a show that lasts no more than 90 minutes. No thanks.
As someone who has seen Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, Dave Matthews, and Jack Johnson live, there really isnt that big of a difference in how much weed was smoked. Dont kid yourself.
Just cause he has a few more songs about it, doesnt really mean anything.
