I've said all along ESPN has been shifty Sam in this whole thing. With the longest existing contracts being the SEC and ACC, the best way for them to save money is to 'incentivize' the remaining members of the B12 into joining other conferences thus dissolving and/or shifting their debt.

Is it safe to say that since ESPN and the ACC have a deal that it's KU to the ACC?

Is it significant that he gave them until noon tomorrow to respond?

who knows what UT/OU might do before then!

Fans outside the Big 12 are laughing at this but whatever do what you can I guess.
Does ESPN do gameday at any big 12 campuses this year? Gotta think they’d be chased out of town.

Dave Bautista is in a new Disney bundle (Hulu, Disney+ & ESPN+) ad that I saw on Twitter. At one point he was talking about watching football. What's interesting is that they showed him watching it on his laptop and it consisted of two short clips of ISU.

Is this mostly a legal move? Or a PR move?

At this point, I don't think there's anyway a university could guarantee their safety.

Well too early to know. But if they have evidence if ESPN and another conference discussing poaching teams it can definitely lead to a lawsuit for tortious interference.
Just what I was thinking. People shouldn't just be dismissing things out of hand.

And if punitive damages come into play? Hooboy.

Link for you to peruse. Seems the hateful 8 could actually bank big money and setup their own thing.

I just hope and pray we don't get a judge who's a graduate of UT or OU
