Bare with me through this prologue. Fandom is psychologically fascinating. The most popular sport in the world is, by American standards, really boring. But then, why is it the most popular sport? Having played it at almost every level throughout my life, early on even I could attest to its boredom. BUT, then I started to watch the game 'within' the game (the part I was really good at). That's where it gets much more interesting. But, it's easier in soccer to do that because outside of spacing and gaps, soccer focuses around the ball. Football is different, but no less interesting 'off the ball'.
We're constantly hearing about CMC saying "Be the best version of yourself". Therein lies the 'interest' of playing inferior opponents in football; the game within the game. So that, along with doing anything I can to boost the B12, is why I'll be watching this bahhh schedule. Imagine a strong enough movement where every B12 fan is watching these games. In 2 hours, we would change the landscape. Don't even get me started on gambling 'within' the game or how AI is going to impact viewer experience. It's mind boggling where this is all going. And, I believe we have the right man leading the conference to exploit the dynamics of future viewing.
