Offensive Newcomer of the Year is Iowa State's Aaron Horne, who led the league in kick return average in Conference games.

Nice honor for him. Hopefully he can be more and more involved in the offense during the bowl and next year.

Not bad for a player that many thought wouldn't contribute - I think most people looked at him as a tag-a-long when we picked up Jantz.

What great recognition for Cheese/Ak47/AJ!! He really busted his *** this year, making plays all over the field!!

That is awesome for AJ! Sometimes he is a little overshadowed by Jake...great to see him get his due!

Definitely surprised that is was him, but the guy was a beast. I love the clip of him tackling the Oklahoma State running back in the back field.

AJ really stepped up his game this year. Looking forward to watching him, Knott, and Porter in 2012.
