Oddly positive from bleacher report

Bleacher report has actually written some really good articles re: ISU this year. I think it's time to shed the negative image many have had of the site.

Maybe I don't understand the stats correctly, but this graphic from ESPN trying to show the importance of Imbiid's defense isn't as impressive as they made it out to be?

"On the next possession, Wiggins lowered his shoulder and drove the lane, bowling over a defender in the process. The referees though, perhaps realizing that the superstar already had three fouls, called a block, which upset the Iowa State fans in attendance."

Pure gold.

Pretty decent until the end when he refers to the final game bring played on a neutral court ... Hilton South?

We we will add more new fans today than Baylor will have in total.

I REALLY like the way the Bleacher report works tweets into their stories. They do it well and it adds a lot of character to the story.

Spoke too soon?

NCAA Tournament 2014: Opening Odds for Every Team | Bleacher Report

Iowa State (20 / 1)
DeAndre Kane and Melvin Ejim are arguably the best one-two scoring punch in the entire tournament field. Aside from a triple-overtime win over a short-handed Oklahoma State, though, the Cyclones entered the Big 12 tournament with an 0-6 record this calendar year against RPI top-100 foes.
Can they carry the momentum from winning that tournament, or will they revert to their underachieving ways?

Maybe it's actually BR returning to their underachieving ways.

That's interesting since TT and TCU are the only teams we played this calender year that are outside the RPI top-100.
