Gotta love Marv! It's been a while since the FB program has had an upset like that.

I'd say the # 2 spot is a tie between Seneca and Sage. I will never forget Sage's bowl play. It was incredible

My favorite play of Sage's: the bootleg at Iowa racing to the corner for a touchdown.

After all these years and looking at responses.......no question, Geo. Amudson with Dean Carlson and Seneca after that. I've watched them all and based upon the young puppies here...you had to be there!

Sage brought this program back from the dead with his hard nosed gritty plays. He didn't have the speed of Seneca, and maybe the arm strength. What he had was heart.

Seneca led ISU to 2 bowl games in 2 years, but the second half of his senior year might of been the biggest collapse of ISU history.

Brett led us to two bowl games in his fresh and soph yrs. For whatever reason, and it's probably because of line play, but ISU went backwards his Jr and rebuilt his Sr year.

Big toss up between these three. I wish I was old enough to see someone like Archer and others. Although, I became a Cyclone fan when Bandhauer was QB. I just remember that he had one heck of an arm. Just too bad that was all he had going for him while here.
