Is it just me or does there seem to be a movement back toward coaches staying at schools? Cutcliff and Briles both have done this. Sure, there will always be movement but I think the money available to all schools and the fact that CFB has been greatly equated over the past 20 years or so has made coaches stay and build rather than head off to the first big job. And Baylor's running game scares the **** out of me.
You may be right. At a certain point, theyre all making enough money that theyre set no matter what they do, why give up everything youve built just to take a big risk at a higher pressure job?
That is true as well.I think the money has more to do with facilities and such. Yeah, we don't have the money of UT but I think there are huge diminishing returns on a lot of that difference. I think we have enough money to win anything we want. I just don't think it limits programs anymore.
Tune in tomorrow for the next Big 12 blow out: Texas Tech. This one's over. I love it. I hope all the big 12 teams can do this..possible exception K-State.
Baylor should be ranked, beat KSU, OSU and TTU in their past three and are now stomping a team that somehow deserves to be #17.
