Here's the link:I don't think any real major penalties will come of this, but then I could be wrong.

This doesn't surprise me.

It sounds minor, and I'm not about to paint MBB programs with broad brushes these days, but I suppose if a school hits rock-bottom amid its historical nothingness then rises to semi-prominence within a half-decade, somebody is likely to start looking under a few rocks.

Where they love the governor
So...college coaches are supposed to know when various high school coaches are coaching games and are not supposed to send texts during said games? I guess high school coaches are unable to turn their phone off during a game they are coaching?

I don't know anything about Baylor and if they are or are not dirty, but Cyclone fans need to take notice of how fast the Baylor program went from a train wreck to the NCAAs. Cheating or not cheating, a basketball program can go from bad to good, or good to bad in a short time, because 1 or 2 impact players and a hand full of role players is all a team needs. Well, that and a good coach.

I haven't seen where Baylor is a dirty program....well beyond one B12 coach (Rick Barnes?) voicing his displeasure for Drew's "tactics". Other than that, and this investigation I haven't seen anything else. Well, beyond cf posters saying they're dirty.

EVERYBODY says they are dirty. Bob Knight doesn't corner Drew in the bathroom to yell at him because he thinks he is doing a great job. Baylor doesn't suspend their assistant coach because he did things the right way. There is plenty out there that shows that Baylor is not on the up and up

You can raise a son one way, but comparing the Valpo job to the pressures of coaching in BCS conference are different. If my coaching job was on the line, I would push the line as well. I have heard some things...not sure how much is true though.

This investigation could be interesting, but I had not heard of any of those events you mention.
