I liked the ending. It was nice to see them tie it into our civilization. It kinda sucks to realize now that we're all half cylon. I could have done without the flashbacks the last two weeks. I didn't see how that contributed at all.
One final epic space battle with some sort of Deus Ex Machina thrown in. Not bad. Setting it up with an asteroid belt and black hole singularity was vintage military sci-fi.
So what are we to take from Starbuck disappearing - she was a ghost? an angel? what? I also didn't get why Cavill shot himself and all the other bad Cylons got the hell out of dodge on the bridge when the chief strangled Tori - Galactica was finished - I expected it to end there

Barely got a cup of coffee in that role.
Starbuck was an angel. Go back and watch the scene where she's keying in the jump sequence. They tell you right there. The problem is that you don't pick up on it right away. I didn't get it until I watched that part over.
