My very brief glimpse of Rocco was like a short Purdy 1.5. Cook went 4-4, hitting our tight end of the future with a sharp shot to the numbers. Again, both looks were very brief. One comment on Dekkers snap to the helmet looked a little comical. No interceptions were an excellent thing. Beat Baylor!

I think Kempt has the best debut.
No doubt a legendary debut. I guess it comes down to whether you consider a leading a team to a spectacular team victory or blowing people away with a spectacular individual effort and gaudy stats as more impressive.

I kind of lean toward the latter, personally, but I can appreciate the argument for Kempt.

Makes me wonder if Purdy has the same kind of instant impact if he comes in late in a similar situation

Quick question for all Cyclone fans. Is Brock Purdy's debut at OSU the best Cyclone debut of all time ever? If not, who and when?

Genuinely curious.
I don't know, but I am confident that Seneca had the best conference debut of any Cyclone QB.

22/24/4...0 int...7/58 rushing.
