These avg are as of now and I'm not positive these were the people he guarded in every games but only one guy going significantly over his average and most under their average is pretty good.

It is probably worth noting that McGruder was averaging over 20 in Big 12 play. I don't know how the other players' conference numbers differ from overall numbers.

I don't want to disparage a Cyclone of old, but Bankhead had an advantage over Babb on the court - his looks could scare a bad game into a lot of players he was guarding. On the other hand, I think that Babb is probably the best looking player on this team - not that he is my type.:wideeyed:

Of course he isn't as dreamy as his coach.

Oh, my bad..I was on the home end of the court so I couldn't see it very well through all of the other players. Either way, whoever did it deserves a shout out..

Color me optimistic but if his shooting were more consistent, I think there is definitely a shot.

They found a place for Freddie. Babb would have to develop a Freddie/Willoughby-like ability to hit tightly guarded 3's off screens like they did, and then I could see it happen.
