It really didn’t seem to slow up the Cyclones free throw percentage. Wasn’t it Jefferson who said that he really enjoyed the opposing fans trying to rattle him?

It was a good call to have the B12 trophy involved. I mean I hate them for it and wish nothing but the worst but still I can respect the call.
That's a "too soon" for me. I went to the b12 championship solo and sat in the middle of the ASU sideline. I stayed classy but damn that was a horrible game.

I think during one free throw they had two people dressed up as chickens, one as a Cyclone fan and one as a Hawkeye fan fighting each other.

To anyone that was at the game: Did ASU student section do this yesterday? I don't remember seeing anything on the comprehensive quality camera angles of ESPN+. Thought it was hilarious when I'd seen it in years past, almost rivaled BYU's background as far as distracting a free throw shooter.ththf
Truthfully, the ASU video board looked smaller than ISU's previous board. It didn't show a lot of "video" either, so if your seat didn't have a good angle to the "curtain", it was hard to see even in the arena.

Their video boards, PA system, etc were garabge.
Now, their food options are something Hilton could learn from.

I'm just glad the pep band didn't commit the ultimate sin of playing the Farmers Only theme song

I'm glad the additions to the conference all more-or-less feel like they belong. I was young in the 90s, but things feel more like the old Big Eight now where the schools had more in common. Yeah, we're sprawling from Arizona and Utah to West Virginia and Florida, but that's the game nowadays.

Utah and UCF might be exceptions... but they're far less annoying than Texas.

They definitely talked about it and showed it on KG shooting free throws as he missed a free throw and then made a free throw. 9:56 in the second half I believe.

announcers kept commenting about how it was having an impact on our FT shooters. we shot 80% from the line at the game. i think they were overselling its effect.
