My daughter saw the one that looked like Maui. She is 6 and a big Moana fan. She was appalled that the announcer said it was Moana and not Maui. Nothing gets by her - she’s going to give me hell when she’s older (already is)

It really didn’t seem to slow up the Cyclones free throw percentage. Wasn’t it Jefferson who said that he really enjoyed the opposing fans trying to rattle him?
That's a "too soon" for me. I went to the b12 championship solo and sat in the middle of the ASU sideline. I stayed classy but damn that was a horrible game.
Jones said postgame seeing how the football team flaunted the trophy and gave him some added juice in the game.

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this game immensely. I thought it was awesome that the football team showed up to taunt us with the trophy. I'd have wanted our guys to do the same.
Truthfully, the ASU video board looked smaller than ISU's previous board. It didn't show a lot of "video" either, so if your seat didn't have a good angle to the "curtain", it was hard to see even in the arena.
Wonder if they got approval from Iowa to use the color black?
Their video boards, PA system, etc were garabge.
Now, their food options are something Hilton could learn from.

I'm glad the additions to the conference all more-or-less feel like they belong. I was young in the 90s, but things feel more like the old Big Eight now where the schools had more in common. Yeah, we're sprawling from Arizona and Utah to West Virginia and Florida, but that's the game nowadays.

announcers kept commenting about how it was having an impact on our FT shooters. we shot 80% from the line at the game. i think they were overselling its effect.
