Semi-related to the original question, I recently started using an AI-based digital receptionist. (heyrosie.com) I thought I was getting a friendly voice that would take messages for myself and others, but I'm quickly finding it more useful. The app has the ability to create a FAQ so if callers have specific questions, it can answer them, but what I'm learning is that it's capable of much more.
For example, I had a caller that was inquiring about having some lighting installed. He was chatting with our AI about the project and described a light type and said he couldn't remember what they were called. The AI bot knew what he was describing and told him. Later when I spoke to the caller, he mentioned how helpful our receptionist was and had no idea he was talking to a computer.
