Given as he had poor stats last year, he's a shoo-in. You know the NFL hates college quarterbacks with good stats.

But in all seriousness, it depends on how his release/footwork is this next year. He has the size and the arm, but he hasn't shown the touch. Being a spread QB will hurt him too.

I think AA has the athletic ability and work ethic to make it in the NFL at a position other than QB. He could turn into a good TE/H-Back.

He's going to get a lot of guff for taking all his snaps in the shotgun as well. He did have a few years of snaps under center though.

I know he is a big college QB, but could he really fill out to be an NFL TE?

I had not given this subject any thought prior to reading this post but I would say if he has been improving his mechanics and puts up hellacious numbers he has a chance

A lot of QBs can run but how many run like a full-back? This is AA's #1 attribute and what separates him from other QBs. However, I have a feeling that pro-coaches would advise him to no longer run that way.

if he manages to not singlehandedly throw away a game to our bitter rivals, and puts up good combine numbers, he'll get a look at HB or QB

I trust you've thoroughly analyzed the statistical odds of this?
Oh boy. Well, the retardation of making Tyler Sash look All-American caliber has no statistical value... so it's hard to calculate.

not trying to be snippy or condescending, but this statement simply has no merit at this point. simply being big does not make you a TE/H-Back. simply because he is big and athletic does not mean he can block anybody OR catch passes, especially against NFL players. could it happen? sure, but this is one of the bolder statements i've seen on here. right up there with bo williams being the most talented RB on our roster based on nothing alone. again, don't take it personal but this is some serious conjecture.

If he wouldn't have sucked last year I would say yes. He will have to completely light it up though to be even drafted now.
