Is the basic point of the article that we don't really live in the present, and that our consciousness actually wobbles a little bit behind and a little bit ahead of the present nearly all of the time?

If not, then no thanks. Because that's the way it is.

Deepak Chopra said that most people think of ourselves as physical beings that somehow learned how to think, when it's almost certainly the opposite. We are thoughts that learned how to manifest into a physical being.

Or we're all just the inevitable result of a chain reaction ongoing since the big bang, all of our actions are governed by chemical reactions inside our bodies, and thought is an illusion.
