While doing research, I also found out about a teacher doing atrocious acts that came out a week ago. Her name is Lindsey Banta Jarvis.

At least a level of birth control was used. Being charged with rape and sodomy. Didn't think the rape charge was enough?

OK, not here to give a morality lecture, but after reading all the posts, it occurred to me that there is a very significant and startling disparity between this episode when changing the gender(s). Many of the male responders here are basically leading cheers for the young students who successfully banged their hot female teacher. (I can admit to having many fantasies about one of my teachers, but whatever.)
To shift things 180 degrees, a 25 YO male teacher having sex with several of his 17 YO female students might not foster the same reactions. In fact, older male predatory sexual activity is one of those things that brings out the worst in young girls' fathers.....and yes, I have 5 daughters, so I know whereof I speak.
I'm befuddled that we seem to think it's fine to congratulate teenage boys for having illicit sex with an older girl, but the reverse most often arouses anger for the man who can't keep his hands off of forbidden fruit. (See the movie "Hard Candy" for a shocking version of this tale.)
Again, I'm no ones moral compass, but it's disappointing in this age of supposed acceptance and equality that this double standard still remains.

I won't discriminate. I don't think throwing 25 year olds in jail for consensual sex is in anyone's best interest. But the haters spin that into somehow having a weird obsessional with 12 year olds (probably theirs and not mine).
