Someone mentioned it earlier. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Jon Miller got the job.

Too bad Meisenheimer left, he would have filled in just fine. Maybe B-Ross will co-host. LOL, well not sure if that would be a good thing actually. Shawn is not bad but they definately need to find someone with a similar personality to Andy's. They've had a few dud hires before. Remember Telly Hughes?

God help us all if that happens! No offense to Jon, I think he's a nice guy but they need to hire someone that is more nuetral. With Jon Running Hawkeye Nation then taking over Andy's spot is not going to make central Iowa Cyclone fans very happy I bet.

Eh, Deace is pro-Cyclone but he needs to stick to his new radio show where he can get away with talking politics, religion, etc. Even when he was on KXNO I got frustrated with him at times. The best thing to do would be to bring in someone that doesn't have a biased toward anything local probably.

That whole thing earlier about party at your place and beer flowing freely when Rome goes off the air.....

Does that apply here as well?

I didn't really care for him. But you were probably right up above, it has more to do with the idiocy of Soundoff, than just Fales.

Of course, Fales could have a lot to do with my opinion of Soundoff.:baffled5wh:

What's Bugging Andy was good but I won't miss his smug attitude and his average sports knowledge. I ran into him a couple times tailgating and he just didn't seem like his heart was in Iowa, or at least at Iowa State. He's my gf's favorite sportscaster but not even close to mine.

As mentioned before, I really wish Meisenheimer was still around, I think he'd make a great co-host for SoundOff. However, its been a long time since I've watched a whole SoundOff show. The callers are just too stupid and painful to listen to. I usually watch the first couple of segments with "I think" and What's Buggin' Andy. Gonna miss having him on the show, though. 13 has had the best sportscaster group for awhile now. They were hands down the best with Meisenheimer, even though that only lasted a couple of months.

Deace still likes talking sports, I can assure you of that. I just don't think he liked doing it on a daily basis a la the KXNO show. Hopefully someone will try to talk him into it.

I liked listening to Andy and enjoyed meeting him at an ISU basketball game. He has an attitude about him that you just dont see in sports reporters. Good luck Andy; maybe I'll apply for the (former) Whats bugging Andy? role.

My guess is Sean Terrell, he did the show a couple weeks ago when Fales was out of town.

What ever happened to Mark Meisenheimer?
