FYI on other thread I mentioned Ames Lager was on tap at Old Chicago but sadly it's been pulled as we need tap spots for our October Fest beer tour.

Told my boss that pulling AL right before college football season was a tad cruel.

Are you ******* kidding me? It took me months to get it back on tap there!

Hyvee Liquor in Algona has Ames Lager

Billie Jo's in Algona has it on tap as well.

East Ames Hyvee did NOT have any over the noon hour when I stopped in today, although they had pallets in the aisle with an assortment of beer. Not sure if Ames Lager was amongst them.

Yesterday, Ames HyVee East had it in the cooler aisle, but not in the walk-in cooler. However, they only had space for a handful of 6-packs. Did you ask about it? If so, what did they say? I will add that to the availability (or non-availability) list.

I was in Cyclone Liquors today and they still have it in the cooler.

I've always seen it in the cooler aisle and honestly wasn't looking for it today so I didn't bother asking.

Thought ahead and picked up a few last week.

Cyclone Liquors said they stocked up. And Ames HyVee West had at least 50 cases stacked up at the entrance from grocery yesterday.

My guy Jimi, at Northside Liquor in Mason City. He had a handful of 6-packs of the finest Ames Lager, in the COLDEST beer cooler in North Iowa when I stopped in tonight. Just Sayin.

I found it at the 50th and Center Hy-Vee in Omaha. I'm pretty sure it's been available at all Omaha metro Hy-Vee locations I have checked.
