Again, nicely done Mr. Bell. Mad props. If I run into you, I'll be giving you props. Please tho, someone give him some advice on how to handle the weather here.

if you're talking about driving in it - what the guys have already said in here is invaluable. Not much to add.

If you're talking about how to survive the cold and snow in general - the best advice I've got is to get a good coat, get some good gloves and a hat, and just enjoy the heck out of it.

Remember what my 300 lbs grand father used to say about Iowa Winters whenever someone would pine for warmer climates:

"Better cold than hot. If I'm cold, I can put more clothes on, but if I'm hot, I can only take so much off before they start lookin' at me funny in the grocery store."

This is one of my biggest pet peeves when I tell people how to stop the fogging of your windows on in the interior. Turn the thermostat to full heat and turn the freakin AC on with it. It dehumidifies the air while warming your car up. I've debated with people for hours on end about this and I can't believe everyone doesn't do this trick.
The best way to stop your windows from fogging over is clean the inside of the windows with shaving cream. Your car will smell like it for about a week, but it works like a charm.

I apologize for not recognizing all of our players. I didn't feel like going through the roster, looking at each photo, and then comparing.... I usually only see the players with their helmets on, on Saturdays in the fall....

Most cars also have a knob or button that allows outside air to be circulated into the heating/cooling system. It helps to put the setting on circulating the air with the outside air to reduce the moisture from inside.

Yeah, but shaving the cream off the windshield is a real pain in the arse.

Reason #1 why it is so hard to get talent from the southern/coastal States to come here. Heck, I am from NE Iowa and EVERY
winter I threaten to move away:cool:
