Assuming the blue alien we have already seen is a Kree, which would make sense with Guardians of the Galaxy coming in August, any chance The Hydra Ward is actually a Skrull? Would allow them to bring back the good Ward later.

It's an interesting idea, but I wonder if the Skrull rights aren't tied up with the Fantastic Four stuff at Fox.

I am pretty sure TV rights are different than movie rights

Yea, but the show ties into the movie universe. They aren't going to introduce anything major that they can't carry over or reference in the movies. Not that I think they're going to go out of their way to reference AoS in any of the upcoming movies, but an invasion by a species of shape-shifting aliens would seemingly be to big to ignore.

After the last episode, I wonder if they would.

Yeah that was weird to hear "Flowers" tell Ward about the monsters that killed an entire village in China to find their baby who just happened to be Sky. No idea where they're going with this.

It could get very strange. I know I shouldn't really ask about comic book science, but if she was an alien then why couldn't she heal herself?

Did Flowers say she was like Skye? I thought she did.....

That was odd. When they set up the whole "Skye has special DNA" thing, I was hoping that maybe her whole arc would be wrapped up by the end of this season. But if next week is already the finale, there's no way that she isn't the central story for next season, is there? Yuck.

The Chitauri which were introduced in The Avengers are the Ultimate Marvel universe's version of the Skrulls. So they already have introduced that into the universe. I would really be surprised if they were to reveal that the Chitauri have shape shifting abilities (which they do in the comics) in the television show. That seems more like a reveal best suited for a movie.

I was hoping that these people with powers that destroyed an entire village in China are the Inhumans. That is just a wish of mine and I actually think that would be too big of a reveal for the show as well.

The whole China part of Skye's backstory has me hoping for the one thing that could redeem stretching the Skye-is-so-special-and-you-should-all-love-her-arc into season 2: FING FANG FOOM as season 2's big villain! Make it happen ABC/Marvel!!!

She did say that which confused me a bit later on when she told the story about the Chinese Village because she made it seem like it had nothing to do with herself.

And if you say that you wouldn't be 10x more entertained by the show if it featured a giant space dragon in purple pants, you're a damn liar!!!

With Marvel unable to use the term mutants in the films, the Inhumans would also be a way to lead into and explain Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch's powers in Avengers 2

Thoughts...?? I was groaning when Garret put himself back together, but that turned out to be pretty funny. No idea what's going on now with Skye's parents...
