CF has all the main aspects of most college sports message boards. But CF may focus more on uniforms than most others. Plus, CF is NOT HN, thank God!

Dedicated fans for sure. I don't think our crazy factor is quite as high as some boards. Stupidity does have a tendency to come out in game day threads. I think our sense of community is pretty darn high though.

We're Number One, right? This seems rather obvious being that they are college sports. I mean you do have to account for the tavern Hawk type fans but still this is what I would expect. Hope we didn't have to spend taxpayer money on that study.

That is about as spot on as you can get. I always considered Game Day threads to be the same thing as sittings in a pub and hearing the chatter. I don’t find people posting their distress bad as it’s just immediate reactions like they’d say in a bar. What I find funny are the people who tell other people to chill and relax as they are taking comments too literally.

I doubt if any other message board has anything like the CF events with football and basketball coaches. I tell fans of other teams about it and they just can't believe it.

I wish I could find the PM I got from a former mod where he told me exactly which poster was likely to be Bruce. I spent half an hour going through PMs and I just can't find it.
