The offshore / onshore will feature the collective response;

Onshore team: "Is that something we can get done?"

Offshore team: Muted pause. Muted pause. Muted pause as offshore team discusses. "Yes."

LOL, the offshore team answer to every question is yes. The real question is how long after the call ends before you get the email informing you the answer is actually no.

Making the rounds at work here as well.

The same guys did this one, which made the rounds last year which is also good.

edit: these guys have been making videos since before YouTube. I remember "Things you can't do when your not in a pool" on Ebaums with the same guys.
Why is Chris Williams sitting with Santa Claus?

That is such an accurate depiction of conference calls. I sit in on calls that have upwards of 50 people at times and it is impossible to get anything accomplished. Especially when half of them are offshore.

Conference call hall of fame -

* Participant goes into bathroom. Flushing is evident.
* Someone fails to mute their phone, then disses on someone else that is obviously on the call - usually the call leader.
* Someone puts their line on hold to take another call - everyone left on the conference call is trying to yell overtop of the hold music piped in. Someone suggests we all hang up and call in again. But, because Mr. On Hold is still on the call, you can't start a new call with the call in information. Then, mad emailing begins trying to reconnect. Eventually everyone gives up.
* Someone called in from an airport hanger and didn't mute their phone. Planes are taking off, no one can hear a thing.

i could go on but these pop to mind quickly.

This rings very true for me. Very funny.

They should have been in their pajama pants. That is what I wear most days.
good one, had someone answer a group video chat without his shirt on once. Not sure why he answered.

I usually draw weird pictures and post them on Facebook during my conference calls. Also, my pet peeve is the person that keeps getting kicked off of the call and then announces herself every single time she gets back on.

The worst conference calls are the ones with a video webinar. Half of the participates are unable to get into the webinar, and the other half do not have the call in phone number.

This is gold. Loved all of it. Barking dog was the straw that broke my back to uncontrolled laughter. Encountered pretty much all of these scenarios.
