and we walk the ball up the court and settle for ANOTHER 3 pt airball.

Oh, we had a timeout to use as well. When will we learn?!

Yeah, timeout and either feed Niang or take advantage of how they're doubling him if you can't get it to him.

Baylor exploited our weaknesses AGAIN. Who's really surprised? Hopefully Prohm can put a lid on this thing before we play ourselves out of the tourney.

Hey Niang. Your an all american and one of the best players to ever play at Iowa State. Make Monte give u the ball for the final shot.

Let's be honest...a timeout would have done nothing. It still would have been a bad look 3pt shot to win. Might as well play it out like they did.

Man even my wife was saying I cant believe they keep doing the same thing over and over at the end of games with the same losing result..
Wish Monte would learn and quit trying to play hero from the outside and go for a better shot.
He is as unclutch at the end of games this year as you can get. Borderline costing ISU games with bad decisions.

I agree a timeout wouldn't have mattered. It was really poor shot selection on the whole at the end that hurt, along with having no idea how to defend Baylor. And that damn 1-and-1.

At least sprint the ball up the court so you have a little more time to get a better shot.

At the very least, the quicker Monte gets the ball up the court the less time Baylor has to get set on defense.

We're not that far off, as you don't want them to score off your missed shot. Monte does consistently initiate the offense ~2 seconds late imo.
