And yet, circus peanuts and orange slices still exist.

Yes, most of the ones I used to like and thought they are gone, you can probably can find them. Like circus peanuts, pop rocks, big league chew, etc.

I know the restaurants still exist, they've just all closed within a 10 hour drive of me, but I miss the Taco Time Crisp Meat Burrito. Those were delicious.

The new restaurant that went in its place - It’s My Jam - very good! Just… not the same rolls

The Jimmy John's Frenchie I wish they could buy there. I don't remember what years they actually sell them, but it was premade in plastic and you could just stop by, take one, cheap, and it was amazing. I haven't been in Jimmy John's since like 10+ years as all the better sandwich places (local places, Jersey Mikes, etc), but I'd take one of these. If I remember it was basically a Italian meats with a flavor butter with a long smaller bread.

WHAT! When I lived in Ankeny I loved Sorisso that went all the time for weekend breakfast. Waiting the next time going around there for breakfast and see if it was the same before new owners.

I agree. There breadsticks used to be magical. Now they are very average. Pizza Hut ruined the whole thing when they went with the dominos model

I miss the OG Pizza Huts in general not just sit down. When they started mass producing crusts and breadsticks it lost a lot of the luster. Their pan pizza now is literally nothing like it used to be. Not even close.

I also miss Godfathers all over. Still a couple up here I hit up and still great.

Really miss all the Happy Joe’s locations too
