Yup...you picked two directions - you had no idea which one had a Gladiator and which one didn't. Some good collisions in those.

In the 'most recent' old ones it went from the treadmill straight into the hand bike, right? So they got the two hardest out of the way. The way it is now is TOUGH.

Also, I don't remember water being involved in the Eliminator before. I thought falling off the hand-bike landed you on a net or something.

Having to swim and getting drenched is what really makes this nasty, IMO. Then the treadmill now at the end - sheesh!

Give me a beer instead.

Yeah, the water is new. Make it a lot more challenging. I get short of breath just watching it.

Yeah the water is new. I couldn't believe how tough the Eliminator was. By the time everyone got to the inclined treadmill part, they were all nearly dead.

It seems they tweaked the eliminator every season.

During the eliminator when they jump into the pool and have to swim under the fire was anyone else wondering why they didn't just dive into the pool and swim under it in one motion? I wonder if thats against the rules!?

The treadmill on the old one moved a lot faster.

But the treadmill on the new one has a rope to help you get up it even though it moves slower.

I think the water is what makes it so bad in the new one, being soaked and trying to continue to climb up the cargo net. Makes me tired watching it. :wideeyed:

I doubt the pool is deep enough to dive into at the height they jump from.

I don't know, its pretty deep IMO. Plus the should be able to shallow dive because the fire is far enough away.

do you think the fire over the pool will still be there next time? After Bloodi-Bonnie?

I think it is plenty deep, but the jump is so high it would be hard to get the momemntum to carry you under the fire in one breath. That pool takes alot out of you, the last thing anyone wants to do in an aerobic activity is hold their breath...

Yeah, the water combined with that barrel roll that they have to do before they get on the handbike, well with all of that it's any wonder any of them are even able to stay on the handbike.

I thought it was fun to watch. Better than most of the crap that's been airing on TV even before the writer's strike.

I will say. I REALLY miss Breakthrough and Conquer. It was my second favorite event behind Assault. Seriously, football and wrestling in one event...awesome.

Who's to say it won't be on tonite? It seems like they have quite a few events, and the fact that they only do 4+Eliminator, unlike the original 6+Eliminator, they can only do so many. At the very least I want them to bring Atlasphere back. At least the DID bring Powerball back.
