Seems like he'd be a nice addition!

Seriously, only curious. No hidden meaning in this question: Why do you have a hawk as your avatar? (You must do as you wish, I do not question your motivation; again, I say, I am curious only.)

Seems to have nice length and agility but he appears pretty unskilled from that clip. He doesn't have a good dribble, doesn't really get off the floor, no interior footwork, little evidence of playing within a half court offense like PnR, or posting up. I like his frame, but he's got a long way to go skill-wise. That said, that makes him a good target for us at this time frame. He's going to get better. I do like the energy he has on all the fast breaks.

Maybe his coordination is still catching up after the growth spurt. But yeah, at this point he looks like a project with a crazy high ceiling. He'd be a great get for Prohm just based on his raw potential.

Similar player to Jameel McKay, it looks like George is less athletic but more skilled.

Competition didn't look that great in the video...

In all fairness. Competition will never look good in a highlight video. First off if you are a high D1 recruit. You are normally way freakin better than everyone on the court.

Second is the AAU circuit where offense is kind. Even there sometimes the competition sucks. The major tournys have good competition but the rest of them are junk teams with maybe one or two good players on a team.

However, I always assume that the competition looks bad because the guy we are recruiting is way better than everyone.

Way up there
With Lard, Jacobson and Solomon, realistically, this kid wouldn't HAVE to contribute until 19-20, that gives him 2+ years to bring along his game. With the size and skill he already, he could be scary good. With our schollie situation, I'd say its a no brainer to take a chance that this kid is going to blow up.

Conditt would be a great add to our class. As a 6'10" junior in high school he shows some good skill and above average athleticism. No doubt that he needs to add strength and he needs to continue to improve, but kids with his length and ability are really rare.

As for the competition, unless you go to Oak Hill or another school like it he is not going to be challenged at 6"10" in most cases. AAU probably provides better material for evaluation. Even then he many not see many 6'10" D1 prospects unless his team is pretty good.

I don't really see much "skill" in his game.

What "skill"? I have yet to see this in any of the videos.
