$20 million per season really isn't much at all. If he ends up as their starter, he'll be one of the lowest paid starting quarterbacks in the league (not counting quarterbacks still on their rookie deals)
Yeah 20 million is like nothing nowadays strangely enough for NFL players. Fields is probably worth that as of now

No thanks. He can keep his front office/locker room drama to himself. Once upon a time, his talent offset that, but that time appears to be over.
Not gonna be able to afford him pretty soon here with the other signings coming in.

And they are still trying to retain Trey Hendrickson. I know the face value of these deals does not tell the whole story since $ can be back loaded, etc, but the Bengals are getting crazy. Their D was already poor and it isn't going to improve with 91 and ten blocking dummies.
