Typically wrestling teams dont bring in 2 top 10 guys at the same weight that will overlap 2 years.
Pnut wasn't a top 10 guy. He's got a lot of talent, but he was still in the 40-50s as an overall recruit. Coby is a top 10 in the class kid and if you can get him, you get him
I disagree. Pnut will be better and you will have a full ride guy sitting regardless. I'm not high on Coby he had 40 lbs on Ross and couldn't do anything
he lost 3-2. and ross is a specimen. youd be hard pressed to find many more athletic than him
Point being he wasn't able to move Ross around or get him underneath him and was 40lbs bigger. Coby offense isn't great and he's nowhere near the athlete Pnut is
Ill agree here, Pnut is def the better athlete. For arguments sake id go after Coby, will see what staff thinks.

Sorry, just don't think he's shown to be the caliber wrestler we'd be interested in bringing in. I don't see any good wins and he lost to Dylan Whitt

Agreed, there is a way to navigate it. Between a redshirt, potentially an Olympic redshirt option either way, and injuries using the ever so easily accessible med redshirt... You can start to see a path where things work out fine and both get a lot better in the process
I think might be the backup 197 this year. Elam isn't wrestling a full schedule, so who would it be? Tate or Sawyer are definitely options that have been talked about
Bartelt seems mostly likely.. not sure what CJs chances would be at making that cut. 97 seems big for Tate. Nando and Hagerty are atill around.
