At some point, you have to think these guys will want some actual mat time.
couldn't agree more, how long does the program expect these guys to be good little soldiers and just be practice partners and see handful of matches at opens while they could achieve AA elsewhere

If PSU gets welsh, what does that mean for Zac Ryder. At 84/97 they would have Ryder, Welsh, Barr, and Mirasola all with a ton of eligibility left. Zac Ryder is really good, im not sure that Welsh would even make the lineup at PSU.

Why is she still in a wrestling only group? How many times has Echemendia been talked about or posted in there over the years. And she’s had to see him be talked about. Shes been in that group since 2021. She called the event traumatizing. Why hasn’t she left a wrestling only Facebook group and moved on with her life? The fact she’s in there still just doesn’t add up. Not calling her a liar but she’s trying to do damage years later.

I dunno...maybe its because he went on social media claiming to be a victim from his tOSU days and she had enough.

Exactly what ISU needs, be the next best option especially with DC in middle weight training with CRTC

I’m with you. Go there and try to be the man for a year, maybe 2 then go wrestle for 3 years and AA. Bearclaw got 3rd? And he spent all of his eligibility there except this one year.

Nothing he said was incorrect or mentioned her by name at all.

Fact: OSU kicked him out and afterwards the charges were dropped and he was given a second chance and has stayed nose clean.

Not going to comment on what she is saying. The truth generally lays somewhere in the middle.

What part of claiming innocence confuses you?

Going back home? Good for him I hope he straightens his life up and he’s happy there. Hopefully he gets back on the mat and has some success, their heavyweight was a senior
Was the rub with him we needed him at ‘97 and it obviously wasn’t suiting him so he cashed out? Don’t know what he walks around at and the how hard the cut was…do remember when yonger was cutting to 97 and it was killing him…

I personally think he’s a tweener. Would be perfect for that 220 weight class, if it existed (another topic, for another time). I’m sure he can compete at HWT, but he is very short compared to most of those monsters.

I don’t know the details on the struggles he was having off the mat, but the cut to 197 was a failed project. Huge cut, and he wasn’t having any success.

I was actually impressed with Indiana at the end of the season, Big10’s and Nationals. They stood out and Angel is doing a good job now, congrats to him and his staff. Their 197 was R12 and really solid and has 2 years left. So I’m guessing if he’s going there he’s going back to heavyweight

They've been on the rise since he's been the coach. They even topped Iowa State in the tournament this year.
