Like LA, Miami is a big city with warm weather most of the year, so your team has to be pretty compelling to give up other activities.

Also people forget UM is a small private school, so they don’t have a massive built in alumni base. (Lot of $$ though).
Yes to a point, but they have 20K students, so not that small. But maybe for a stadium that size, it is. But that also makes one question their media value. If there is so much to do besides follow/watch their games, then they also should not be very high in media value.

I also get the big city lots to do thing, but that also means there is a HUGE population that only a very small percentage is needed to fill that stadium.

Why are you cheering for psu and their easy schedule?
IMO

Winner will 100% stay in front of ISU.
Penn State's 1st loss and Lions probably stay in front of ISU.
Ohio State's 2nd loss and Buckeyes definitely drop below ISU.

Roar, Lions, Roar!

The Dolphins stadium is in the middle of nowhere in North Dade County. PITA to get to from Coral Gables. Meanwhile, the old Orange Bowl was in a cool location in Little Havana. Go to the game, have some fun after the game and back to Coral Gables or wherever.

Well. With osu most likely winning today I think BIG get 4 teams in.

I think we are going to see Oregon, Ohio St, psu, Indiana.

Even if Ohio State loses today they would still need a third loss anyway. Two losses both close to the number 1 and 3 team in the country, and both on the road would still get them in.

Different year, same ****. I don’t know why the networks keep getting hyped for this game.

Side note, imo Penn State year after year continues to show they can’t beat the really good teams, so why are they going to be rewarded with CFP berths exactly. Other teams from the ACC and Big 12 from an at-large standpoint may get beat bad by Ohio State in the CFP but we might not find out. We KNOW Penn State can’t beat these teams though.
