I wish they were on tonight. Going to be a quiet Saturday night, sports wise.Perhaps I should read harder next time.
Are there significantly more byes this week for some reason? Noticed there are no late kickoff games tonight. Weird.
I think you nailed it.I thought networks were keeping it open expecting a World Series game 7 tonight.
YesIs this a typical crowd size for Miami? Undefeated and top 10. And there is nobody there. Yikes.
Its embarrassing. Open seats everywhere.Im surprised that Miami doesnt have a full stadium. 8-0 team, seems like a lot of empty seats.
Also Ok St game was supposed to be late game (6pm I believe), but moved it to 2:30 with consent of the network and both schools due to impending weather. Kind of created a mess with the KSU game having both games play musical chairs on who was going to be on what network and how.Are there significantly more byes this week for some reason? Florida man busy doing Florida things during football season I guess.I think in the 80s and early 2000s Miami was like mid 2000s USC where it was the place to be but otherwise there's just not a lot of interest even if they're good.
And I just tuned in to that game, to see Duke immediately give up an easy drive to let Miami cut it to 3, then Duke throws a horrible INT on their next play and the Hurricanes are about to take the leadAnd Duke just scored to go up by 11

Like LA, Miami is a big city with warm weather most of the year, so your team has to be pretty compelling to give up other activities.
Also people forget UM is a small private school, so they don’t have a massive built in alumni base. (Lot of $$ though).
