The old Pac-12 is just so bad. Washington got blown out at Michigan St is predictable but I didn't think Washington St and Oregon St would struggle with WCC bottom feeders.

I think the Arizona game would have sold out if not for the snowstorm.

Tell your site to make sure they add “State” at the end of Iowa in the article. They’re going to get flamed for that if word gets out ;)

Wherever I go, there I am.

The only things the University of Iowa is #3 in are nepotism and not paying contractors.

WVU stole one of Iowa's tight ends in the portal. he had 1 catch for the year, so i assume he's a good blocker.

Did anyone ask him if he’d be willing to take a pay cut to play in the WCC?
Heh! That'd be awesome if someone asked him that. He might rethink his stance a bit on the travel thing.

He does have a point it's awkward scheduling to play at Nebraska, then back home to play Michigan 3 days later, then east-coast two-gamer after that.

But pendulum swings the other way, too. After playing at Rutgers Jan. 13, UCLA leaves the city only once (at Washington) until Feb. 11 (at Illinois). Five of the seven games at home. Something tells me he won't be complaining about that stretch.

To me there's a huge difference in B1G bball and football travel wise.
I'd hate to do it in bball.
Agree. Some of the traveling now is NBA-like where they’re on “road trips” for multiple nights for multiples games.

It makes sense logistically as it’s better than traveling back and forth, but yes - different then football.

I don’t feel sorry for the schools that made these decisions and the coaches/ADs that surely pushed for it. But acknowledge these kids are probably not accustomed to it yet.

Middle of the week. Sometimes twice a week. When do these kids do school.

Imagine how hard it is on the Olympic sports and other non glamour sports. They aren’t chartering flights.

With the money these players are making "school "is the last thing on their minds.
