So the only isu players left with even a remote outside chance at getting drafted are Bailey and Soehner right?

Not real confident that Bailey will get drafted, but the way he played this past season sure didn’t hurt his chances.

Its round 6, and the Houston Texans are up to bat soon. They "need" a TE, and Dylan Soehner would look great in a Texan uniform! He's big, he can block, he can catch, and would be a steal in the 6th. If not, the Chargers, Jets, Bengals, and Panthers are up soon and also could take a TE.

Elijah Mitchel, who you might remember from Louisiana, just went to SF in the 6th. He'll join Trey Lance of NDSU (or, as we say in these parts, Wester MN). That will be a fun backfield to watch in the coming years.

This story of the Big 12 not getting many picks is gaining traction with the national media. I have not looked it up, but could one of the reasons for it be that most of the better players returned to school for another year instead of turning pro? The two highest rated players in the league on offense are Hall and the QB from OU, both are only sophomores, ISU had Purdy, Kolar and Rose all return for another year. One would have to think at least 3 of the 4 players from ISU would be drafted by now.

Yes. The top two teams in the Big Xii (Iowa State and Oklahoma) return most of their starters for 2021. Next year will have a plethora of Cyclones, Sooners and others drafted.

Anyone know why Dylan Moses is still available?

Louisiana had a RB drafted last year as well, and have another one (Trey Ragas) that could still get picked here in round 7.

Well it looks like Kene will be our lone guy drafted, which isn't shocking given the number of guys that came back. Next year should be a lot better when it comes to ISU guys getting drafted. Hopefully Bailey and Soehner find a nice landing spot as an UFA.

I'd hate to see him go to the Texans. Woof.
