This story of the Big 12 not getting many picks is gaining traction with the national media. I have not looked it up, but could one of the reasons for it be that most of the better players returned to school for another year instead of turning pro? The two highest rated players in the league on offense are Hall and the QB from OU, both are only sophomores, ISU had Purdy, Kolar and Rose all return for another year. One would have to think at least 3 of the 4 players from ISU would be drafted by now.
Love what the Chiefs have done in this draft, they trade for Brown from Baltimore with their first pick, so got an All Pro player that is only 25 for a pick that might or might not start this season. Filled a need with the LB from Missouri and then took the Center from OU that some thought would be a late 1st to early 2nd round pick at 61. KC is a better team today than what they were 2 days ago.
