I might add the Texas guy to your edge list.Depending how well Trader Rick works his magic to move up in round 2, I hope he lands either one of these Safeties-- Jevon Holland, Oregon or Richie Grant, UCF.
First round 3 pick go after one of these Edges-- Carlos Basham, Wake Forest or Ronnie Perkins, Oklahoma.
So, I’ll ask you. With that run on ends at the end (no pun intended) of the first round, how many teams still have needs at end? Aside from the Vikings, of course.Oweh is one of the fastest and most athletic defensive ends ever, but his production in college was very poor. He's a project player for sure. Tampa has a stacked roster and could take him at 32, develop him for the next couple years.
Teams will consider taking edge rushers, whether they have a pressing need or not. It's a premium position. Minnesota is a good example. Even when they had Hunter and Griffen, they still seemed to take one or two edges every year. So, I’ll ask you. Just curious how far some of the remaining guys there might free fall. Probably not to the territory Danielle Hunter was picked, though.

This. A kid I like is Elerson Smith from UNI. He needs a year as a backup to develop and learn to play with a hand in the ground, but he could be a great NFL pass rusher. If Minnesota can grab him in round 4 that would be excellent.Teams will consider taking edge rushers, whether they have a pressing need or not. It's a premium position. Minnesota is a good example.
