I know we don’t have a scholarship open right now, but someone will transfer after season is over. ISU has a 6’9 JUCO player in their backyard at Marshalltown that is ranked as the #6 in the nation. He is averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds. http://www.mccathletics.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/players/mohamedthiamn0kc He also just had a 38 point 29 rebound game. Why are we not recruiting him for when someone does leave!???

"Marshalltown had 44 points in the paint in the win, while post players Mohamed Thiam, Bassirou Ndiaye, Berk Karadan and Eduardo Lane combined to score 38 points and pull down 27 rebounds in the win."

Tigers net first ICCAC win

Thiam scored 13 on 4-11 shooting and collected 11 rebounds.

Yeah he seems like at least a decent MM prospect but I just don’t really see us going after him right now. There’s some guys at Indian Hills I could see us pursuing before him.

Has ISU kinda burned their bridges at Indian Hills?

The forward at IHCC has a motor. He’s from the same program as Vladimir Brodziansky irrc. He looked better than Lake from IWCC, who is now in the rotation for ASU.

Of course, our biggest need is a 3P shooting pg/combo guard.

With tucker coming in, Shaylok being eligible and Wigginton coming back, we don’t “Need” a shooter if that shooter isn’t the best available option. My hope is Lewis can push his game to the next level and perhaps be a sharp shooter for us of the bench in the coming years

IF a scholarship opens up, and considering ISU opportunity to add a ball handler and outside shooting, as noted by the prior posts, Tyler Harris will be the priority of the staff.
There is a reason the staff has keep in contact with TH throughout the process and just visited him.

I heard of this JUCO named Taz Ritrou-Fong that we could maybe use.

That perfect shooter/combo/leadership mixture that we need, right?
