Probably too early, but does anyone know how good those teams are projected to be next year? At the very least they're all from brand-name conferences.

Pretty meh I think, I would have to bet we are the favorites especially if McKay can be eligible.

Probably the field that was expected but I'm a little disappointed. Hopefully ISU can start getting invites to the more elite tourneys.

I think Maui sets their field 3 or 3 years in advance, but it would be great to see ISU head back to Hawaii.

Good tournament with decent BCS opponents. Arizona State can be very dangerous if Jahii Carson stays.

At least it's a step up from crossing your fingers to get matched up with Boise State in the final.

Maryland returns some nice players.

I'm glad it's not an elite tourney. I'm not sure we'll be ready for that until McKay is on the court. The following year we should be stacked.

I believe he's already announced he's leaving, plus they will lose their other talented guard Jermaine Marshall as well and their 7'2 center.

Pretty disappointing field compared to past years, Maryland is bringing in a pretty strong recruiting class so hopefully they are much improved next year.

After this years tourney, it sounded like they want us back as soon as the rules allow.

I'm talking about the EASports Maui Invitational, not the Diamondhead Classic.

Definitely agree with MNCyGuy. At least this is a field of teams from BCS conferences.

Way up there
I think all three of those teams should be improved, looks like the Sprint Center will be Hilton South that weekend.

Of course they want us back. We were way better than any other team in the field and they desperately want to be known as something other than "the tournament that isn't Maui"
