Yeah, and we are much better this year than last, so thoughts like these sometimes work out.

I really don't think either of our seniors could be considered HUGE losses this year. When both Allen and Christopherson aren't scoring, they really do nothing for our team. And in Allen's case, he'll shoot regardless if he's feeling it or not, which really just hurts the team. IMO Clyburn/Lucious > Allen/Scotty
Obviously you can't prove this until they actually play, but Lucious is the true PG we could use, and Clyburn seems like he's gonna be able to get his own shot whenever he wants, which is another thing this year's team needs.
I get what you are saying but I think CA ans SC are at 12.5 and 11.8 ppg right now, respectively. They can fill it up and I don't honestly think that the combo on Clyburn and Lucious score 24.3 points in the big 12. I see Clyburn in the neighborhood of 12-14/game and Lucious more in the 5-6 per game as a true point guard. I could be wrong.
I will reserve judgement on losing CA until next year, keep in mind that people were talking about him last year at this time the way they are talking about WC this year. SC will be missed especially when we need big shots, that dude is stone cold at the buzzer.
All that said, we are a better team next year with growth of the current players and the addition of a real PG, just don't think we should discount CA/SC combo too much.
I can see McGee picking up the scoring slack. CA and SC are really solid but I think they have struggled this year because they are being asked to do things that aren't their strengths. Having those 2 with Babb this year may be more talented than a group of Babb, WC and KL but the latter group is more of a traditional group and won't force guys to play out of position. That's why I'm not as worried about losing Chris and Scotty, nothing against them, I just think having a true PG will counter their loss.

If he sticks around will Sledge play the 2 in 2013-14?
Good point. I think you're right about the true point guard, too. Lucious as a setup guy with big time experience will be huge. I can only imagine the pass highlights next year with him and Royce dishing all over the floor. Melvin better work on his hands!!
