It's a Tuesday night and they still have a Top 10 football team to cheer for. Let's not turn into little ******* the moment we feel superior to some other B12 school.

Unless there is a huricane or a blizzard this is a BS argument IMHO. Have never meet a bad OSU fan...but this level of support for a really good team playing another top 15 team is complete BS.

Probably not worth its own thread, but TCU is barely up at half over the same team iowa beat by 60 on sunday. TCU is a bigger dumpster fire in basketball than we are in football.

Think you gotta guard Smart by committee.... If Kane fouls out, we're in trouble against OSU but at the same token, I don't know who else you put up against him, Naz will get pushed around, Hogue is probably too slow. He's a matchup nightmare for any team out there.

IMO, nobody else can guard him. Monte and Naz are the only ones quick enough (or at least close), but they will get pushed around and outsmarted. Hogue and Ejim are way too slow. Kane, as a seasoned senior, is the only one who can come close. If he gets in foul trouble, so are we.

This will hopefully keep me from picking Memphis to upset anybody come March. I really like the idea of that Michael Dixon/Joe Jackson backcourt, but they don't look too good.

These guys are good. Smart looks like a grown man out there.

Man, I think Smart looked like a grown man last year, but he looks a lot better this year. I still remember him making McLemore look like a little child in one of the OSU-KU games last year. I can't believe he didn't go NBA.

I think one of our guards other than Kane is going to have to step up in the OSU games, and I'm confident they will.

Deandre Kane vs. Marcus Smart is going to be a fun matchup.

TCU is bringing the conference down as we knew it would from day one. So sad; they are just absolutely horrible. They may lose to Abilene Christian (an 0 - 4 team) at HOME!! Yikes.

Pretty sad. I didn't think they could get any worse from last year. I guess I was wrong.

I swear I remember thinking that it was unfortunate that ISU didn't have their 2012-2013 team for 2013-2014 because the B12 was going to be down. I guess that was before Smart returned, Wiggins committed to KU, and Kane came to ISU.

Yep. It is amazing what 2 of the best players in the country can do. Without those two I think we have a chance at winning the conference. With them, something crazy is going to have to happen.
