It's always subjective. My top most hated are ones others like.

I hate Walk this Way by Aerosmith or the Rap version either one.
Anything by Cher, but with Sonny I don't puke
Louie Louie Louie Loo WAAAAA - I don't remember what it's called was awful.
Barbra Streisand = People who need people are the most annoying people to sing about..

Agree, most Neil Diamond is bad.

I lost all respect when they put Crash Test Dummies - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm and Barenaked Ladies - One Week on the list. IMO that's outright FAIL.

Anyway, how the hell did "On Iowa" not make the list? :skeptical:

I'm also a bit POed that Neil Diamond and his crap called Sweet Caroline didn't make the list!!!
(yes I hate the song that much)

Sweet Caroline may have been the best song he ever did that wasn't called "Cherry, Cherry."

It's schmaltzy, for sure. But compare it to "America" or "On the Way to the Sky" or "You Don't Bring Me Flowers." Then get back to me.

Can someone tell what the top 5 were?

05

'Barbie Girl'
Aqua

Paris Hilton was 16 years old when this came out. We're not blaming Aqua Girls entirely. We're just saying ...

'She Bangs'
Ricky Martin

Imagine you hate broccoli but had to sing a song about it every night. Then [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zcc8dTqflh8"]this guy[/ame] sings it, too. Sad, right?

03

'Ice Ice Baby'
Vanilla Ice

Only thing good about this song is that it samples 'Under Pressure.' Of course, Iceman here didn't offer any songwriting credits until after it became a hit.

'Who Let the Dogs Out?'
Baha Men

We try to forgive, but admit to daydreaming about supergluing an iPod with this on it to Michael Vick's head.

'(It's Time to) Beat Dat Beat'
DJ Pauly D

"Being a guido's a way of life. I don't represent all Italians, I represent myself. I started this whole GTO s--- (Gym, Tan, Laundry). You have to stay fresh to dance." Yours truly, DJ Pauly D. 'Nuff said.

How are there not any country songs on there, some of them make me want to shove spikes in my ears.

Best bumper sticker of all time:

The 90's are an easy target because they're fresh in our minds. The 70's and 80's had some truly terrible music, and are greatly underrepresented. When they do this list again in 10 years, the 00's will be listed heavily, probalby with a lot of stuff like Lady Gaga, stuff from former American Idols, etc. (oh yeah, and Nickelback)

A couple notable omissions:
"Rock On" - David Essex
"Takin' Care of Business" - BTO

Any list that doesn't include U2 under overrated/horrible music I have a problem with.

I can't stand you Bono.
