In the grand scheme of things, Iowa isn't that bad. To non-rivals, they are pretty similar for the most part as we are. It just gets annoying locally, but it's part of having 2 BCS teams in the same state....

I'm not too surprised that Florida is on the list, but I don't agree with the "their fans live in the past" comment -- in the last few years they've two BCS championships plus an NCAA basketball tournament. If they're obnoxious so be it -- I'd say they're living in the present.
Florida State and Clemson are the fan bases that are living in the past.
Iowa would be on there if their programs had ever been national powers the way the 10 teams listed are, or have been in the past.
Nebraska is probably omitted for a couple of reasons: They would only be on the list for football, while most of the schools on there are or have been known as powers in multiple sports over the years. And their fans may seem condescending to us, but on the larger scale I think the Big 8-to-Big 12 change has hit them with a dose of reality: whether they admit it or not, it's clear that they have their hands full with the Big 12 North and will always be looking up at Oklahoma and Texas.

If no Nebraska then it really isn't a complete list. No way they should ever be left off that list.

Every team on this list has won a National Championship in FB. In fact, every team on this list has won multiple National Championships in FB except for Clemson. As Babe Ruth once said "It ain't bragging if you can do it!"

KU is really close (worse). I would like to see their basketball list. Both KU and Kentucky have to be right near the top.
KU fans are obnoxious but Kentucky fans are obnoxious and obsessive and extreme hypocrites (see Calipari)
I actually found the LSU fans to be far more annoying then 'Bama fans at the Independence bowl. A friend of mine was accosted by LSU fans after the game because they were upset that we lost to arch-rival 'Bama (even though I still think we won, dammit!). Also, not that it makes a big difference but UA is 1-6 not 0-6 in recent Iron Bowls, they won last year. Nice job Lisa Horne.
They lost all credibility from the beginning when they said that "Florida fans live in the past." Florida won 2 of the last 3 football championships and very recently won a couple of NCAA tournaments - I fail to see how that's living in the past. Iowa fans talking about their Rose Bowl smackdown to Washington as this major accomplishment to their program is living in the past. Florida fans talking about their school's successes over the last 5 years is far from it, as obnoxious as it may be.

I think most fans of Big 10 schools would disagree with you on this one. Case in point - Alamo Bowl several years ago. When Michigan and Ohio St fans felt compelled to go to the Texas fan sites and apologize for the behavior of Iowa fans on the Texas fan sites, stating that "this is how they treat everyone in our conference," well, it leads me to believe that Iowa fans aren't exactly the crown jewel of the Big 10 Conference. That, and from what I've heard, USC, LSU, and Florida fans haven't exactly had nice things to say about them, either.
The worst part of all three of these schools is that some of their worst fans are just band wagon fans who jumped aboard because it was the trendy thing to do. I have had my run ins with all three of these fan bases. 90% of the jerks were college girls or metro v neck obscessed boys who did not know the first thing about college football. I tried to reason with them but soon realized they have no prior understanding of football in the least.
Same could be said of that one chick/Iowa fan from two years ago:
"You guys suck. You couldn't even score a touchdown."
"Look at the scoreboard - we beat you."
"Doesn't matter. You couldn't score a touchdown - you guys suck."

Well, yeah, that's true, but those things happened. That means they lost.
Or making excuses is more fun.
That type of excuse making happens in a lot of rivalry games. IMO, there's nothing all that unique about Iowa's fans. They are mostly garbage against us, as they view us as the little brother. I've never heard of Iowa fans going up to Madison, Columbus, Ann Arbor, or State College, and acting like they own the place.
We should all laugh about 'Bama fans though. I've heard they are THE WORST in the SEC, so it's good to see them on the list. Even in periods where they sucked, they honestly believed they would win the National Championship.
Iowa fans typically do this about the Big 10, but I've never seen a sane Iowa fan predict National Championship pre-season (a lot of times they'll try to go back and say if they did x, y, and z, they'd be playing in it, but that's different)...

Me: Nah, we just beat a mediocre Big 10 team. I'd much rather beat Texas or Oklahoma.

ISU has a much better chance to beat Iowa than either Texas or Oklahoma, so that's probably where the silence came from.
