I just want to make it through this season first.

I have a Bachlor Party for one of my buddies in March (first weekend of the madness) in Vegas, that will be AWESOME!

by the way, who on here is planning on Vegas next fall! CYCLONE NATION UNITE! TAKE OVER LAS VEGAS!!!!

definitely thinking about going. it would be a helluva time and I'm trying to talk Cyclonick182 into going to Vegas. It would be a great party place for a Win and if we were to lose then there would be PLENTY of other things to occupy my mind. I was thinking about taking some mushrooms and watching Cirque de soleil for one...:nah:

It would be nice to see many more of you lovely people out in cardinal and gold in the Vegas strip, I would feel obligated to buy a beer for every person I see in something I-State.

The schedule btw looks MUCH better, but it will also depend on how much better WE get too. Hopefully Chizik's boys can REALLY pan out.

Dan McCarney called last year's brutal schedule "a year of opportunity." I would much rather see us succeed against tougher opponents, but the fact remains we just aren't ready yet. That's why I see NEXT year as "a year of opportunity." The teams we face will be much more favorable and there aren't a lot of tough road trips like we had last year (at iowa, at texas, at oklahoma.)

2008 & 2009 will really be the seasons to see what Chizik is all about. If we aren't bowling by 2009, then that might be it for Chizik, but I really hope that isn't the case and my head really doubts that it will be. Next year we will need to kick off the I-State look with a BANG, but until then, we've still got 2007 and we've got oklahoma on saturday. I'll be there, beer(s) in hand, Let's Go State!

Would love to go but we are going to a wedding in Vegas earlier in the year, plus I am hoping to go to the Florida-Georgia Cocktail party next year and the big 12 basketball tournament... Might be pushing the travel budget a bit...

I am trying to schedule a September 20 weekend getaway in Vegas and catch the game while I'm there.. :) Whoever scheduled an away game in Vegas is a genius :)

It was a Cyclone event in '99...............Thousands of us were there. NCC had a tailgate at Sam Boyd, it was wall to wall. Pep Rally at Monte Carlo. Players were out on strip on Friday night. Best part is Beer was served in Sam Boyd...................

Worst part was I got married again at Paris Hotel prior to game................I think I'll go by myself next year.

Me and the roomate are already planning on getting out to Vegas for this. Seriously, Vegas was about the best away game that could possibly be scheduled.
