Are we disconnected from the outdoors?
OUCH! That is REALLY sad! So gardening, landscaping, camping, hiking, etc., etc., don't accomplish this in a much healthier way? I love the outdoors and cherish the fact that my job lets me be outdoors often. It saddens me that so many just don't care about the world beyond their walls. -

My wife and I LOVE Mexican. Cazador is hands down the worst we've ever had. Reminded us of ketchup and Chef Boyardee (sp?). El Azteca and El Charro are passable but none in town are authentic. -

Property taxes aren't bad here yet compared to other places in the Midwest, especially when you consider the growth and quality of the school system. -

I've had much better luck with Menards than HD and often find it worth my time to go to the Lowes in Altoona or Ames. I also prefer the Menards in Altoona to the one in Ankeny. -
