This team had every element to be a Final 4 team. Experience and talent throughout the backcourt, did very well in the portal to complement them with a strong frontcourt, a successful core that played together for a few years. I know that they never really got a chance to play together due to lack of health but the chemistry was just off this season. Hard to pinpoint what went wrong but I did not envision the season ending like this even with Gilbert out and Lipsey hobbled, there just wasn't much fight in this dog.

We missed an above the rim guy, no alley oops, we frequently get out jumped on rebounds.

I almost feel like we will make a run here andake it close but not enough time for the win
Milan and Curt are starting to actually do things, so you may be right. Problem is, our defense is rough tonight, and every Miss drive is a foul, apparently.

Somewhere, tj lost this team, no idea why, I hope he thinks hard about this year and what went wrong.

Don’t think he lost it but hope he can reexamine his inability to get them to play consistently the way he wants. Resorting to heroball and no showing on defense in the most important game of the season is telling. People can blame injuries but that doesn’t account for the K-State game. Or Oklahoma State game. Or Ole Miss. or completely no-showing defensively x2 against BYU…

Ever see the movies where a man is riding a horse/mule hard across the desert and doesn't give the horse/mule any rest and then the animal just keels over and dies? Never see it coming.

Really liked all the camera shots of the Ole Miss crowd the entire game, plus all the SEC-stroking. F making me dislike them more which I didn't think possible.

Fans tend to over evaluate their current players. White and Niang both better dribblers and players overall for sure.

Momcilovic flashes big time potential but has too many games where he doesn't make big impact.

Jefferson is very talented, great passer. Not sure he has good enough handles and does not shoot 3s well enough to play a Niang role in nba

As a whole our starters without 100% Lipsey and no Gilbert are very unathletic.

Heise has way more hops and can get more vertical than Jefferson and Jackson and actually has some quickness. Jefferson has pretty bad dribble skills. Momcilovic is slow and doesn't have a great handle. Jones is probably our best overall player IMO.

This team reaching it's potential hinged on no injuries and Mom + Jefferson leveling up or some of our depth/youth guys stepping up. None of that happened.
