Who would you rather have lead your team, Nate Stanley or Carter Stanley?
Nate has obviously accomplished much more with much better players and coaching around him most of his career, but I got to thinking about this Saturday: KU's Stanley is having a career season by far. Their total attempts, yardages, yards per attempt and completion percentages are pretty similar (Nate with slightly more yards and YPA, Carter with slightly higher completion rate). Carter has many more TDs than Nate does this season. Carter has a slightly higher passer rating as well, but a lower QBR. Carter is a touch more mobile and has some rushing yards to his name.
Les Miles seems to have quickly unlocked the potential of his QB (who is a senior and will be gone anyway...), but that has largely gone unnoticed, probably due to the fact that they still aren't winning too many games as a team. Meanwhile, Nate has largely been pedestrian or even lacking in some places this season compared to previous ones, most notably the TD stat. Looking at the stats alone, who would you take to lead your team?
