Possible Nightmare Scenario

I am already dreading this possible scenario:

1) K-St. goes 2-1 in its last 3 games and finishes 13-5. Possible.
2) KU wins its last 3 games and finishes 13-5. Likely.
3) TTech wins its next 3 games and comes into Hilton for its final game at 13-4. Likely.

4) If ISU beats TTech, KU continues the conference title win streak.

Obviously I want the Clones to beat a top 10 team, which can only help their tourney seeding. But I just don't like the thought of their win aiding KU's streak.

I don't know if my brain can handle such a quandary.
Chances of that scenario playing out are remote. Thus, your brain is probably secure.

You want to Clones to win every time, period. Also, you worry too much if that is a nightmare for you.

Really counting on a desperate Oklahoma to win a road game in Manhattan....and a few other unlikely things to happen.

I'm pretty sure the OP was saying that he didn't want our win against Tech to give KU the title, not that he didn't want to see us win.

Isn't the quandary an ISU win or losing and keeping Kansas from winning the title? It kind of seems like the OP would rather see us lose than let Kansas win the conference.

Agreed. As one living in the land of the Jayhawk I would get to see the repercussions up front, but no doubt would love to sweep Tech.

All three happening. Very remote chance of that happening.

I looked at the same scenarios earlier and those all looked pretty reasonable.

I think KSU could go 3-0, but going 2-1 isn't a stretch.

KU could drop one, but this is the time of year when they are the team that doesn't drop a dumb one.

Tech will likely beat OSU and then the games @TCU and home vs TX are probably favoring Tech.

I'm always rooting for us to win, but it would be bittersweet if it also helps KU. Some want us to be the team that dethrones KU and I completely get that, but I don't want to have to deal with another year of KU fans congratulating themselves and the whole "If KU didn't get knocked off this year, it will never happen" crap.

I missed the quandary part of the post. If that's what the OP meant, there is no scenario where I root for us to lose. I just don't want KU to be the beneficiary of our win.

Edit: OP clarified their position.
