He won't get drafted because he's 5'9".
In the 2017 and 2018 draft not a single CB who was 5'9" was drafted.
In 2016 there were two.
Currently, there are only two starting NFL CB's who are 5'9"

If you include 2-deep in NFL CB's. There are a total of 10 whom are 5'9"
I do two mock drafts every year... One with trades and one without. Trying to predict trades is extremely hard to do. Even doing a mock without trades is tough because there are always surprises, which makes the draft exciting. I do a ton of research - watching highlights of the prospects as well as reading every scouting report I can find, looking at what teams do in free agency and what positions they need and things like that.Doing mock drafts seems impossible - so many variables. I hope DM and HB have a good combine because I don't see them showing up in many mocks in early rounds. You get some players that will make it even more difficult because it's hard to project where they will go. Kyler Murray is a great example. He is fast and athletic, but he's undersized for an NFL quarterback. Still, he has a great arm. There is a ton of hype around him and everyone has him going in the 1st round. I had him going to Miami at #13, but I changed it up and now have him going early 2nd round to Jacksonville.
I have Butler going mid 2nd round to Washington and Montgomery late 2nd round to the Eagles.
He will get picked up as an undrafted free agent I'm sure. He was a four year starter and not only was great in coverage, he also did really well making plays near the line of scrimmage.
Mahomes and Baker Mayfield suck, they only benefit from that crappy Big 12 and crappy NFL defense.
You take them out of situations like the Big 12 or the NFL where there are no good defenses and see how well they do.

I know these mock drafts don't hold much stock, but I think it is fun seeing ISU players showing up in the first round. I think Oakland has a lot of potential for Hakeem, too.

It's really fun to cheer for pro cyclones. I listen to almost every Nuggets game on sat radio on my commute. Really hoping one of these guys is that everyday NFL player for ISU fans.
