Just saw a Facebook post from the Emerald Coast Classic that the 2020 field has Iowa State, Oregon, Florida and Illinois. Did we know this already or is it some new info?

That’s a good poll question. Will Taken be at ISU then? (Not that the game has any bearing on that decision)

Is it possible to play in a preseason tournament that doesn't include at least one of Gonzaga or Illinois?

I haven't checked how this works for other teams and tournaments, but I wouldn't be too surprised if ESPN has teams grouped up essentially to rotate through these things.

Probably not, but it would seem organized and tidy.

I miss the days when the Great Alaskan shootout had really good Power teams.

With as many players there are from Canada in the NCAA, I would think a Toronto based tournament would be really popular.

He does have a very particular set of skills. Skills he has acquired over a relatively short Iowa State career. Skills that make him a nightmare for teams.

I went to High School in San Diego and graduated in 1991. My senior year our Varsity Basketball Team played in the High School Gteat Alaskan Shootout and won. That was back when it was filled with Power 5 type teams.
