Iowa State and Illinois: A thanksgiving tournament tradition. Only thing missing is Gonzaga.

I really wish we could have played Gonzaga at the Corn Palace a few years ago. I did go to the Sioux Falls game against Colorado. 98.8% of that crowd was Cyclones.

I loved the atmosphere at the Pentagon. Wish we could play Wisconsin or Minnesota there.

That was awesome. I was in the front row and it was such a small gym. You could have the worst seat in the house and it would still be a great view. We should try to play up there again.

Hard to say, bringing Liam Neeson on board would be a PR nightmare right now but in a couple of years he may have earned the public’s forgiveness.

I believe this is the where the Emerald Coast Classic is played which would be similar

Yeah, that used to be prominent among early-season tournaments, along with Maui -- Maui endured, GAS didn't.

An NCAA rule change killed that tournament - it used to be "exempt" tournaments (where you could play 3 games but only counted for 2 on your schedule) could not be played on the continental US. Once they changed that, the cost and weather associated with Alaska eliminated it for the bigger schools. I do think it would be a great place to go - but think I would prefer to be there in the summer.
