Tony at ISU would be a huge mistake. We don't have the scholarships to use on a 1 year guy. Horrible idea.

If Jon perpetuates the "Freeman to ISU" crap, using the scientific method of rumor and innuendo, bad on him. It's bad enough the poo-flinging drunken socialist monkeys at the DSM RAG do it, it's one thing. If Jon does it, he's even a bigger hack than I thought he was, before.

He certainly proceeded as if it's a possibility. Which it is not.

Says the guy that went out of his way already this week to claim Jon "dropped the ball" by not spending time on local stories and instead talking about the Mayo/USC issue.

He talks local stuff and you still complain.

What a shock...

Well put....well put. I'm glad Jon talks about what he wants because it's his show.

Jon knows a lot and has a lot more inside voices than most of us do. He may be a hawk fan, but he does throw bones at the cyclones. He was the first media person last summer to admit Iowa will have a tough time with ISU in football last fall.

I'd love to have Freeman. Much better than the guardplay we've gotten used to. Probably won't work out though since he only has one year left.

I'm pretty sure that nobody thought for more then 5 seconds that he would actually come here. It does give people something to talk about. It is a pretty dead time in sports, especially if you want local stuff.
